Daughter, perhaps, of Marquis de l’hopital (1661 – 1704) ? The Marquis is of course of the L’hopital’s rule fame that evaluates an indeterminate limit by taking derivatives of the nominator and denominator. (from the National Museum. Stockholm, Sweden)
It’s autumn now and the leaves are turning yellow. Sometimes the cloud goes away and the sun makes everything look like gold.
